Privacy & analytics

We use Cloudflare to host this website and measure how it is used. We don’t use advertising trackers, session recordings, or tracking cookies.

Website measurements

Cloudflare Web Analytics, when enabled, reports visits, page views, referral sources, and page performance. Our engagement measurements count which sections appear in the center of the screen, approximate active time there, and clicks on the submission invitations and email fallback.

The engagement tracker runs only on the public ChangeClause domain. It pauses when the page is hidden or unfocused, stops counting after a minute without interaction, and honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. It sends only predefined page, section, and action labels plus elapsed seconds. It does not send email drafts, names, visitor identifiers, or URL query strings.

These measurements estimate interest; they cannot tell us what someone actually read. Cloudflare processes ordinary connection information to deliver and protect the site.

Submissions and email

When you submit the form, we store your description, selected topic, optional email, receipt identifier, and delivery status in Cloudflare D1. We use them to understand real review problems and follow up about your example. We do not add you to a newsletter.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated abuse. The Worker verifies its token and uses the connection IP for short-lived rate limiting and verification. We do not store the IP in the submission record. Turnstile processes browser and connection information under Cloudflare’s privacy policy and the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

We use Resend to deliver your submission to dev@changeclause.com and, if you provide an email, send a thank-you from no-reply@changeclause.com. Replies go to dev@changeclause.com. Our forwarding provider routes these notifications to the project owner’s inbox. Cloudflare, Resend, and the receiving email provider process the data needed to deliver and store these messages.

The alternative email link opens an editable draft in your email app. Nothing is sent until you send it, and the website cannot read the draft. Email-only messages do not trigger the form’s automatic acknowledgment.

Please leave out confidential code, credentials, and private customer data. You can request deletion of your stored submission and correspondence by writing to the address below.
